DNS is still propogating, but after many months hard work by the pingVision and Popular Science crew it is my pleasure to announce the beta release of the new, Drupal powered, Popular Science website.

This was an incredibly innovative project that brought about the creation of several new projects that will appear on Drupal.org in the upcoming days. Primary among these modules is the Drupal Markup Engine ... a tag based input filter that allows the Popular Science editors to precisely position images, blocks, and pagination in both teaser or node views. The editors have full control over the layout of their content.

There was a lot of innovation and complexity involved with this project ... looking forward to showing you the challenges and solutions we implemented at the 2008 Boston Druplicon.
