The folks over at http://pingv.com/ have been incredibly busy lately. Major development has completed on our third enterprise level site this month and we've been given the go ahead to start talking about some of what we have been doing.
Congratulations to Megan Miller, John Mohoney and the rest of the http://www.popsci.com/ crew on their new Drupal site you will be able to start seeing toward the end of January. This project was large in scope, was developed in a rapid time frame and includes a plethora of interesting modules and discoveries including what we are calling the DME (Drupal Markup Engine) for finite placement of image, block and other node's content within a node or teaser display. It even came with it's own ~1GB Vignette 7 database, ~15,260 images, and multiple third system integration points that needed to be pulled into the workflow.
Look for the site to come live in January followed by case studies, contrib modules, and presentations geared specifically for the Drupal community. 2008 is going to be a fantastic year for Drupal and I am proud to be able to contribute.
That's enough hinting and name dropping for now ;) I'll write more about the other two sites soon.
